Jewelry photos

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph a brilliant diamond and sapphire ring that would be given as a prize at the Shorian Taste Fest fundraiser. It was a fun challenge that I learned a lot from. The ring was loaded with diamonds and a gorgeous sapphire underneath the main diamond. My objective was to capture multiple views of the ring to really showcase the stunning craftsmanship.

With the ring and camera locked down, I moved the lights around while taking the pictures with a remote trigger. I later assembled the images in photoshop where I really pushed the contrast and limited the color. I was happy with the results and hope I can shoot more jewelry in the future!
